Denver weather: A mix of warm and windy conditions Thursday

Thursday’s forecast for metro Denver shows a nice mix of seasonal warmth and fall-like feels a.k.a. windy.
Denver residents can expect sunny skies today, with a high near 68, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. It’ll be breezy, with a south southwest wind between 9 to 17 mph, becoming west in the afternoon.
Tonight expect mostly clear skies, with a low around 40. West northwest winds between 8 to 13 mph become light and variable. Winds could gust as high as 17 mph.
Friday and Saturday will continue hovering around average temperatures before a warm up returns for Sunday and the visiting New York Giants take on the Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High.
Next week starts off pleasant but a cool down is in the longer range forecast for Tuesday when high temperatures should only reach into the low 60s.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70. Breezy.
