Denver weather: Seasonal temperatures Friday around the metro area

Friday’s weather forecast calls for seasonal temperatures and light winds around metro Denver.
Denver residents can expect sunny skies, with a high near 66, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. South southwest winds between 5 to 7 mph become north northeast in the afternoon.
Tonight it’ll be mostly clear, with a low around 42. North northeast winds around 6 mph become south southwest in the evening.
Saturday will be significantly cooler than Sunday, with breezy conditions and a true autumn feel.
Sunday will be great football weather at 5,280′ for the Denver Broncos vs. New York Giants game at Empower Field at Mile High, as temperatures push toward 80.
Slightly above-average temperatures start the work week as well.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 69.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 69.
