YumCha Beer Garden closes
The YumCha Beer Garden in Central Park has closed.
The dumpling and noodle bar operated by ChoLon Restaurant Concepts at 10195 E 29th Dr. announced on Instagram and its website that it permanently closed.
“We’re endlessly grateful to everyone who dined, celebrated, and supported us along the way,” the website stated. The restaurant did not say why it closed.
But for fans of YumCha’s famous french onion soup dumplings, Yumcha just debuted a new location in Denver’s Milk Market this summer.
“Please continue to support our sister restaurants and don’t forget that you can still come get all your favorites at the new YumCha, located in Denver Milk Market,” the restaurant posted on Instagram stories.
The company that operates YumCha also has ChoLon restaurant locations in downtown Denver on 16th Street, Sloan’s Lake and recently joined Denver International Airport.

Colorado’s newest Andy’s Frozen Custard location celebrates a grand opening in Parker starting at 11 a.m. Wednesday, 18900 Lincoln Ave. (near Parker Road and Lincoln).

The chain is known for it’s “Made Fresh Hourly” frozen custard and fresh-baked toppings. Specials include $2 regular size one-topping sundaes after the Golden Scoop ceremony. There will also be “spin-to-win” prizes, including a chance to win “free Andy’s for a year,” according to a news release.
The Parker location will debut a new flavor “exclusive to the region” called Rocky Mountain Jackhammer. It’s described as: “Andy’s vanilla frozen custard with fresh strawberries and Oreo, then drilled and filled with rich, gooey marshmallow.”
It’s the sixth metro Denver area location, with others in Aurora, Littleton, Denver and Sheridan.
