Denver weather: Near perfect fall conditions Wednesday as sun, calm winds forecast

Another day of near perfect weather is forecast around metro Denver on Wednesday as temperatures will be slightly above seasonal with ample sunshine and calm winds.

Sunny, with a high near 72, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Light and variable winds become east between 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight it’ll be partly cloudy, with a low around 43. East northeast winds around 6 mph become south southwest after midnight.

A slight chance of rain showers, not both Thursday and Friday, are forecast with Friday seeing a drop in temperatures into the low 60s to close out the week.

A return to low 70s starts the weekend around the Mile High City, with sunny conditions and calm winds.

Here’s the 4-day forecast from the National Weather Service.

Thursday:  20 percent chance of showers after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 69. Light and variable wind becoming northeast 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 17 mph.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 62. Light and variable wind becoming north around 6 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 71.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 70.
