Man arrested in Boulder county road rage shooting
Boulder County authorities on Sunday arrested a man who allegedly shot at and injured another driver during a road rage incident on Saturday.
In a news release, Boulder County Sheriff’s Office officials said the incident occurred at 5:47 p.m. on Saturday near McCaslin Boulevard involving the drivers of a white Toyota Corolla and a white Ford Fusion.
Both drivers were traveling Denver-bound from Boulder on U.S. 36.
The Corolla driver allegedly pulled out a gun and fired one shot, shattering the Fusion’s driver’s side window, injuring the driver, according to the sheriff’s office.
Authorities said the investigation continued into Sunday, when law enforcement found the Corolla at an apartment near the 3500 block of Nottingham Court.
Deputies arrested Cameron Michael Jackson, 35, around 9 p.m. and searched his apartment.
Jackson faces charges of second-degree assault with a weapon and menacing and intimidation with a weapon, authorities said.
