Mountain town police seek help in finding missing woman last seen in August
An October 31 press release from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the Manitou Springs Police Department addressed the ongoing search for missing 57-year-old Margaret Woolsey. Law enforcement has expressed concern for Woolsey’s safety.
Woolsey, a local resident, was last heard from on August 3, not reported missing until the evening of September 23. The circumstances of her disappearance and her whereabouts remain unknown, with investigators noting that it’s unusual for her to be out of contact for this long.
Woolsey, also known by some as Margaret Mitchum, is described as Hispanic, 5-foot-10, and with a thin build.
Anyone with information about the case has been asked to contact Detective Strider of the Manitou Springs Police Department directly at 719-685-2542. Dispatch can also be called at 719-390-5555.
