Denver weather: Temps push toward 80 degrees Tuesday across the metro

Tuesday will be very warm for this time of year as ample sun will shine across metro Denver and push day time high temperatures close to 80 degrees.

Denver folks can expect mostly sunny skies today, with a high near 78, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. South winds between 5 to 9 mph become north in the afternoon.

Tonight it’ll be mostly clear, with a low around 39. West southwest winds between 5 to 7 mph become south southeast after midnight.

Back to a bit above seasonal temperatures for the rest of the week, but a bit breezier on Wednesday and Thursday as a storm front passes by Colorado to the north. Some mountain snow is possible there, but metro Denver will stay dry.
