Denver basketball’s Jeremiah Burke named Summit League player of the week | Colorado Sunshine

Where good news shines

Denver Pioneers forward Jeremiah Burke was named Summit League peak performer of the week Tuesday after the graduate student averaged 19.7 points and 6.3 rebounds across three road games.

The Pioneers lost to Seattle and Washington before winning at Montana State. Burke led all scorers with 23 points to help Tim Bergstraser to his first win as the Pioneers’ coach in a 75-73 triumph in Bozeman. He had 15 points and Washington and 21 points at Seattle.

Burke transferred to Denver from North Dakota State. The Pioneers host UTSA at Noon Saturday.
