Denver weather: Sunshine and continued above-average conditions Thursday
A ridge of high pressure remains locked in place over the western United States and will keep conditions warm and sunny across metro Denver on Thursday.
Denver residents can expect sunny skies, with a high near 74, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. South southwest winds between 6 to 13 mph become north in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph.
Tonight it’ll be mostly clear, with a low around 43. South southwest winds between 5 to 8 mph.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday will basically be like Thursday, with high temperatures in the low 70s and upper 60s.
Next week starts off more seasonal like as a storm system pushing through Colorado finally brings the chance for rain and/or snow showers over the first few days of the week.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 71. South southwest wind around 6 mph becoming east southeast in the afternoon.

Monday: A chance of showers before 11 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 57.
