Where good news shines
The RMAC is sending three teams to the NCAA Division II football playoffs.
Colorado State University Pueblo, Chadron State and Western Colorado are off to the big dance and its inaugural 32-team field.
CSU Pueblo (10-1), which won the RMAC title, is the No. 3 seed in the Super Region and will host UT Permian Basin at 1 p.m. Saturday at the ThunderBowl.
Chadron State (8-3) is in the field for the first time since 2012 and drew No. 4 Pittsburg State at Noon Saturday in Pittsburgh, Kan.
Western Colorado (9-2) will play Central Washington at 2 p.m. Saturday in Ellensburg, Wash.
