Denver Outside Festival & Summit changes name, moves location for 2026 event
After two years under the name Outside Festival & Summit, Boulder-based Outside Inc., has changed the name of the popular multi-day outdoors festival held in downtown Denver to something a bit shorter.
The new name, “Outside Days“, is a celebration of outdoor culture and community that invites a broad audience to reconnect with nature, ourselves, and one another, Outside said in a statement Tuesday.
“It’s bigger than a festival, it’s a movement,” Outside said.
Highlights from Outside Festival & Summit 2025:
- 2025’s festival saw 35,000+ attendees (a 94% increase year over year) and a deep bench of notable performers and speakers including Lord Huron, Alex Honnold, and Albert Lin.
- The Outside Summit hosted entrepreneurs, outdoor enthusiasts, and more to participate in a pitch competition, career networking fair, and 2 days of inspirational programming.
- The festival days celebrated several outdoor-focused experiences surrounding music, film, and creative conversations.

“What started as a festival has quickly become something much bigger,” Outside Inc.’s Chief Brand Officer Christopher Jerard said. “Outside Days” reflects a broader movement that celebrates the joy we feel when we head outdoors with our communities. We know that our best days are the ones we spend outside together and we wanted a name that captured this energy.”
Event dates and location:
- Outside Days will take place from May 28 – 31 at Denver’s Auraria Campus: 1201 5th St, Denver, CO.
- The 2024 and 2025 venue, Civic Center Park, is currently under construction. But Outside couldn’t be more excited about the very short move to the beautiful Auraria Campus, which offers an enticing variety of spaces to craft experiences that meet attendees’ passions and curiosities.
- The industry conference will take place on May 28 – 29, and the music festival will run from the May 29 – 31.
