Next round of snow expected to hit Colorado mountains Sunday
Another round of snow is set to arrive in Colorado on late Sunday morning, and continue through the afternoon and night, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Denver/Boulder.
According to the NWS, snow is expected to arrive in the mountains late Sunday morning into the afternoon and continue Sunday night. The NWS said that only a few inches are likely.
In the meantime, the plains are only expected to see areas of light snow again.
The NWS also advised travelers to make their plans according to the upcoming weather systems. In a Facebook post, the NWS said that if you’re going west to Utah to travel later this morning or tonight, and if you’re heading east towards Nebraska and Kansas to wait until Sunday when the more significant storms clear the eastern parts of those states.
