Western Colorado quarterback Drew Nash is up for the biggest individual honor in NCAA Division II football.
Nash, a redshirt senior, is one of eight finalists for the Harlon Hill Award, the Heisman Trophy of the Division II level. He’s already been named RMAC Offensive Player of the Year after setting a Western Colorado record with 77 career touchdown passes. His 33 touchdown passes this season ranked third in Division II ball and his 11 rushing touchdowns were third in the RMAC.
Nash led the RMAC in total offense with 291.6 yards per game and ranked third in Division II in total points responsible for with 264. He threw for 2,938 yards during a 2025 season in which the Mountaineers won a Division II playoff game for the second straight year.
Nash follows Austin Ekeler as Mountaineers players to be named Harlon Hill finalists. A future NFL star, Ekeler earned the honor in 2016.
The Harlon Hill Award winner will be announced on Dec. 19.
