Denver weather: More melting on Monday as temperatures climb
Melting snow will continue Monday across metro Denver as the sun is forecast to come out in full as temperatures push into the 50s today.
Denverites can expect sunny skies, with a high near 53 today, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. South winds around 8 mph become west northwest in the afternoon.
Tonight it’ll be mostly clear, with a low around 30. South southwest winds to blow between 6 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.
The sunny streak stays alive through the whole week with high temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s.
Metro Denver could be in for a long dry spell based on current weather models as well. No foreseeable precipitation is forecast around the city for the next couple of weeks.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58. South southwest wind 8 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 16 mph.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 60. South wind around 7 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 62.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 53.
