Denver weather: High temps in 60s continue Friday for fourth day in a row

Friday’s forecast could mark the fourth day in a row that the high temperature reaches 60 degrees or above in Denver as above average conditions continue heading into mid December.

The recorded high temperature at Denver International Airport on Tuesday was 61 degrees, on Wednesday 61 degrees and Thursday 68 degrees.

Denver folk can expect mostly sunny skies today, with a high near 62, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. South winds around 6 mph become west northwest in the afternoon.

Tonight expect partly cloudy skies, with a low around 38. South southwest wind 6 to 9 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

Sunny skies and highs in the 60s are forecast out for the next four to five days, however, that trend might end Thursday as a cold front pushes into the state and mountain snow is possible.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 62. Southwest wind 7 to 9 mph becoming east northeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65. South southwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the morning.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 65.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 65.
