Denver weather: Record heat possible Monday as warm December continues
Denver just experienced six days straight of a high temperature of 60 degrees or above, and now can add Monday as day seven. The record high for Dec. 15 is 68 degrees.
Denver residents can expect sunny skies today, with a high near 69, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. South winds between 5 to 7 mph become northeast blowing in the afternoon.
Tonight it’ll be mostly clear, with a low around 38. South southwest winds between 6 to 8 mph to blow.
The forecast calls for two more days with high temperatures above 60 degrees before a cool down is possible Thursday.
The upcoming weekend looks dry and unseasonably warm as well, with a return to near 70 again on Friday.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 64. South southwest wind 6 to 8 mph becoming north northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67. Breezy, with a south southwest wind 10 to 20 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 38 mph.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 52.
Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 68.
