The George Washington boys basketball team will head to Las Vegas with Colorado’s No. 1 ranking.
The Patriots earned the top spot in the Class 6A rankings released Monday, according to CHSAANow.com. Reggie Hammond’s squad opened the season with wins over Harrison (89-53), Thomas Jefferson (83-33) and Aurora Overland (81-65).
George Washington plays Clovis West (Fresno, Calif.) at the Tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas on Friday.
