Teen found dead on Aurora driveway as police search for shooting suspect
Aurora police are searching for a suspect in a Sunday morning shooting that killed a 16-year-old boy who was found lying on a driveway.
Officers first responded to a shooting call at around 12:15 a.m. in the 3400 block of S. Jebel Court, according to an Aurora Police Department news release.
Upon arrival, authorities found a 16-year-old boy lying in a driveway with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead on-scene, police said.
No arrests were made in the shooting.
Police are investigating the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
Authorities ask anyone with information to contact police through Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
