Red Rocks Amphitheatre finishes 2025 as top national, global venue again
Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the famous music and entertainment venue in Denver’s backyard, again finished the year as one of the most-attended across the country and world.
Red Rocks attracted more than 1.75 million paid fans across 236 events in 2025, according to Pollstar Magazine via a news release from Denver Arts and Venues. That made the venue the second-most attended in the country, behind only New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Additionally, the venue ranked tied for fourth globally with The Sphere in Las Vegas and Movistar Arena in Santiago, according to Billboard Boxscore’s year-end rankings, also featured in the release. Ahead of it was London’s O2 Arena (2.5 million), Madison Square Garden and Madrid’s Movistar Arena (1.8 million each).
Red Rocks is the only venue in Billboard’s top 10 that is outdoors and only in seasonal operation, as well as the only one with a capacity of fewer than 15,000 seats, according to the release.
“For only operating part of the year and with a smaller capacity, the Red Rocks crew, our promoting partners and vendors all work pretty hard to get these results,” said Director Tad Bowman in the release.
A spokesperson with the venue did not respond to a request for comment when asked Tuesday.
