Denver weather: 55% of December days had a high temperature of 60 degrees, Wednesday will be another

Wednesday, New Year’s Eve is the last day of 2025 and Denver will more than likely add its 18th day of a high temperature above 60 degrees in December, or 58% of days in the month if the mark is reached.

Denver residents can expect mostly sunny skies today, with a high near 63, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. South winds between 5 to 8 mph become light and variable in the afternoon.

Tonight it’ll be mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. South wind 5 to 8 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.

The above seasonal warmth continues into 2026 as dry and sunny conditions start the new year too.

The first week of 2026 is forecast to have highs in the upper 50s to low 60s with no precipitation chances in the forecast.

New Year’s: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59. South wind 5 to 7 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 61. Light and variable wind becoming northwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 63.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 63
