Denver weather: Sunny skies, temperatures in the 60s Monday, but snow is on the horizon
Monday’s weather around metro Denver will continue to be above seasonal averages as high temps climb above 60 degrees again, however, a change to much cooler weather later in the week is coming.
Denver residents can expect sunny skies, with a high near 62, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Breezy conditions will exist, with a south southwest wind between 9 to 14 mph becoming west 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
Tonight it’ll be mostly clear, with a low around 32. Breezy conditions persist throughout the evening with a southwest wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph.
Two more days of sunny and relatively calm weather are forecast ahead of some snow and cooler weather to close out the work week.
On Wednesday night a cold front will push across Colorado bringing the chance of snow for Thursday and Friday, which could be the first snow in Denver of 2026 as well.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 59. Breezy, with a southwest wind 10 to 17 mph becoming west northwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 57. South southwest wind 6 to 8 mph becoming north northwest in the afternoon.
Thursday: A 40 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 43.
Friday: A slight chance of snow before 11 a.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 38. Breezy.
