The Regional Transportation District will pause L Line light rail service and modify D and H line service in downtown Denver beginning at 11 a.m. on Thursday, during the National Western Stock Show Parade, through about 2 p.m. when the parade ends, the agency announced in a statement.
All D and H line trains will terminate at the Theatre District-Convention Center Station during the parade. L Line service will be suspended entirely during the parade.
The parade begins at noon at Union Station at the intersection of 17th and Wynkoop streets and continues down 17th Street ending at Glenarm Place.
Multiple bus routes will detour during the event.
Affected routes include 0, 1, 6, 8, 9, 10, 15, 15L, 19, 20, 28, 38, 43, 44, 48, and 52.
Transit users should expect large crowds at the parade and related events.
