Where good news shines
Led by Tilde Baangman’s win and Jakob Moch’s second place, the Colorado Buffaloes’ ski team had a strong showing Thursday in the men’s and women’s 20K freestyle races at the 2026 U.S. Cross Country Ski Championships in Lake Placid, N.Y.
Baangman led the way for the Buffs, winning the women’s race to earn her first victory since transferring to Colorado and the fifth overall win of her college career. Baangman now has a win and runner-up finish in two races this season.
On the men’s side, Moch impressed in his college debut, finishing second.
