Sunny skies and unseasonably warm temperatures return this week to Denver, weather forecasters predict.
Meteorologists with the National Weather Service in Boulder said to expect a high near 58 degrees in Denver on Monday.
That’s about 14 degrees warmer than the average high temperature for Jan. 12 in Denver, according to weather service data. The all-time record of 70 degrees for this date is not in jeopardy.
Tonight, expect temperatures to dip to around freezing under clear skies.
The sunny, mild temperatures were expected to continue through the week, with the high forecast to reach 61 on Tuesday, 54 on Wednesday, 58 on Thursday and 44 on Friday.
