Where good news shines

Olivia Reed Thyne had a historic afternoon in Colorado Mesa’s 13th straight win on Saturday.

The senior from Windsor scored 13 points to become the program’s leading scorer in the Mavericks’ 89-49 win over Adams State in Alamosa.

She also had five rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block in her 109th game as a Maverick. Reed Thyne has 1,921 points in her career, which surpasses Tonya Stites, who held the record for more than 30 years.
