Motorcyclist dead, three injured after crash in Aurora

A motorcyclist died and three others suffered minor injuries after a crash in Aurora on Tuesday afternoon.

The crash, which took place at the intersection of East Colorado Avenue and Southbound Dunkirk Street, involved the motorcyclist and one car, the Aurora Police Department said on social media just after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Four people were taken to the hospital from the crash, according to the post. Only the motorcyclist suffered major injuries; police later added a second post at 3:05 p.m. saying they died.

East and westbound Colorado Avenue is closed at Dunkirk Street while crews respond to the scene.
