CU Buffs’ Hope Leyba invited to U.S. Soccer development camp | Colorado Sunshine

Where good news shines

Colorado forward Hope Leyba was one of 24 players named to the U.S. National Team development camp that will run concurrently with the USWNT January training camp at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, Calif.

The players named to the camp, which starts Saturday, are primarily college players. U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team coach Heather Dyche will run the camp.

Leyba is one of six forwards invited to the camp. She is one of three Big 12 players on the roster, along with Texas Tech’s Macy Blackburn and TCU’s Seven Castain.

Leyba, who had 10 goals in 43 games in her first two seasons at CU, closed the 2025 season as the nation’s leading scorer with 22 goals.
