CU’s Jordan Nytes signs with Denver Summit FC to begin pro career | Colorado Sunshine
Where good news shines
Jordan Nytes is all Colorado all the time.
It will continue that way in the pros.
A two-time All-American at CU Boulder and former Grandview High star, Nytes signed her first professional contract to play with Denver Summit FC in its inaugural season in the National Women’s Soccer League, the team said.
She’s the 18th player announced by Summit FC and the second goalkeeper, joining league veteran Abby Smith. Nytes joins Jordan Baggett, Ally Watt, Janine Sonis and Lindsey Heaps as Colorado natives on the roster.
“For Jordi to have the opportunity to play in the inaugural season for Denver Summit FC, in her hometown, couldn’t be more perfect,” CU coach Danny Sanchez said.

Nytes was a three-time All-Big 12 first-team selection for the Buffs and the co-Big 12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year. The Aurora native set the CU record with 17 wins during the 2025 season.
“Jordan represents everything we want to build at Denver Summit FC,” said Summit FC general manager Curt Johnson.
