CU to dedicate ‘Ceal Barry Plaza’ prior to Oklahoma State’s visit Sunday | Colorado Sunshine

Ceal Barry is getting her due.
Colorado will dedicate “Ceal Barry Plaza” outside the CU Events Center at Noon Sunday before the Buffs host Oklahoma State at 1 p.m.
The public is invited to attend the dedication ceremony and there will be a halftime program as well.
Barry won a program-record 472 games as head coach of the Buffs from 1983-2005. Her teams won four Big 8 regular-season titles and five league tournaments. Her Buffs advanced to three Sweet 16s and three Elite Eights in the NCAA Tournament. Barry is a member of the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame and the National Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.
