For the 13th year, Yelp has released its annual list of the ‘best restaurants’ around the United States, showcasing the highest reviewed spots across a wide range of dining genres. The Yelp community was paramount when it came to which places got picked, with three restaurants featured on the 2026 ranking found in Colorado.

According to Yelp, a few trends that were noticed in this year’s featured spots were described as “”grandma-core” dining, Japanese cuisine, and Gen-Z approved dress-up destinations.”

Without further ado, here’s a look at the Centennial State spots that made the cut to be included:

Ranking 13th was Leven Deli, a spot that’s long-been popular in for its sandwiches in the Denver area. With a 4.6-star rating, Leven Deli is known for serving up Mediterranean-inspired fare in the Golden Triangle neighborhood, with a sandwich called ‘The Rachel’ once being dubbed the state’s best sandwich (smoked turkey, Jarlsberg, house slaw, and Leven Sauce on toasted house-made rye). Chicken shawarma and the pastrami reuben made with 12-day house-made pastrami are also popular hits.

Next in the rankings was another Denver spot that any Colorado foodie is already well-aware of – Alma Fonda Fina by Chef Johnny Curiel. This Michelin-star spot has gotten plenty of praise since opening in December 2023, so it’s no surprise it’s on this list, too. It’s got a 4.7-star rating on Yelp and is known for serving up Mexican food with creative twists, ranking 40th on the Yelp list of 100 ‘best restaurants.’

The third Colorado spot to be included snagged the 99th-place spot – Golden Banh Mi, located in Aurora. While this spot ended up ranking third among the Colorado restaurants included on Yelp’s list, it actually has the highest Yelp rating of the trio – 4.8 stars. Serving up Vietnamese sandwiches, popular options here include the crispy pork belly, the chicken katsu, and the lemongrass tofu.

All three Colorado spots featured on Yelp’s list of the ‘top 100’ restaurants in the United States are clearly loved by their patrons. It’s hard to go wrong by visiting any of them.

The top-ranking spot nationwide was Ci Siamo, a 4.4-star Italian spot in New York City.
