Denver weather: Sunny skies, average temperatures on Thursday

Denver weather forecasters are calling for a very typical January day on Thursday.

The National Weather Service in Boulder said to expect sunny skies and a high around 46 degrees. That’s just two degrees warmer than the average high in Denver for Jan. 29, according to weather service data.

It won’t get quite as cold as it normally does this time of year, however, with the low only expected to dip to 22 degrees overnight. That’s still cold, but not as cold as the average low of 17 degrees for Jan. 29 in Denver, according to weather service data.

Sunny skies and mild temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend in Denver, with highs reaching the upper 50s on Sunday and Monday, the weather service predicts.
