Denver Weather: Mostly sunny and clear skies

Skies are expected to be mostly clear and sunny on Wednesday, after some clouds on Tuesday, and are expected to stay mostly clear throughout the weekend, according to meteorologists.

The National Weather Service in Boulder said to predict sunny skies with light and variable winds, with the high reaching 54 degrees in some areas.

Meteorologists predict lows dropping to 33 tonight with light winds reaching around 6mph.

There is little snow on the ground after last night’s moisture, with frosty windows in some areas.

“So far for the season, 13.4 inches of snow at DIA,” said Denver Gazette news partner 9news’ Kathy Sabin. “By the end of the month, we’d like to be a little closer to 34 inches.”

The warm weather today will continue into this weekend, with sunny, clear skies predicted through the weekend and into Super Bowl Sunday.

The trend will continue into next week with temperatures staying in the mid-sixties.
