Colorado State basketball hosts ‘Fight Like a Ram’ at Moby Arena Saturday | Colorado Sunshine

Where good news shines

Colorado State basketball will host the seventh “Fight Like a Ram” cancer research benefit when the Rams host San Jose State at 7 p.m. Saturday.

The program celebrates 14 cancer survivors in their journey battling the disease.

“The Fight Like a Ram program is such a special initiative we started here at Colorado State. It brings us closer to our community and allows us to celebrate the incredible Cancer Warriors each year,” Coach Ali Farokhmanesh said. “I look forward to this initiative every year and the impact it has on our program.”

CSU players will wear their survivor’s name on their jerseys in place of the players’ own names. The program includes personalized letters, a meet-and-greet at a Rams practice and a hospital visit at the local cancer center.
