What: Cripple Creek Ice Festival
Carving up the classics this winter, despite the 60-degree weather, this winter wonderland offers opportunities to see ice carving battles, vendors, and family-friendly activities. The event is perfect for families looking for a getaway from the city. While you’re up in Cripple Creek, don’t forget to check out the Ice Castles.

What: Mardi Gras 4Paws in Frisco
Let the good times roll (over) at the Mardi Gras 4Paws parade in Frisco which benefits the nonprofit Hope For Animals, which helps abandoned, lost and suffering pets through rescue, shelter and public education. Get your fill of fluffy, flashy pups decked out in purple, green and yellow costumes – don’t forget yours!

What: Winterfest & Ice Climbing World Cup 2026

What: Lunar New Year 2026 at the Far East Center
Ring in the Year of the Horse 🐴 with Colorado’s largest and longest-running Lunar New Year celebration at the Far East Center. Enjoy traditional lion and dragon dances, an abundance of food, and vibrant markets with an array of vendors and cultural demonstrations.
