Denver weather: Sunny and warm to start the week
Another sunny, unseasonably warm day is on tap for Denver on Monday, weather forecasters predict.
The National Weather Service in Boulder said to expect a high of 65 degrees in Denver on Monday under mostly sunny skies. That’s about 18 degrees warmer than the seasonal average high for Feb. 23 in Denver, according to National Weather Service archive data.
Tonight, expect temperatures to dip to about 35 degrees, the weather service said.
Tuesday is also expected to be sunny and warmer-than-average before breezy conditions and a chance of rain and snow moves into the forecast Wednesday night.
Light snow could fall across Colorado’s mountains on Tuesday and Wednesday, the weather service said.
Breezy winds could lead to critical fire weather conditions on Tuesday through Friday this week on the Eastern Plains, meteorologists warned.
