Elitch Gardens opens seasonal job applications, to host hiring fairs
Snowfall in the mountains, fire danger in the plains.
But amid all that chaos, there is one thing remains constant: Elitch Gardens.
Denver’s century-plus-old amusement park announced Tuesday morning that it has opened applications for 1,500 seasonal positions before its opening weekend in April.
Additionally, the organization said it will host two job fairs this weekend, according to the news release. The fairs will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 12-5 p.m. Sunday at the Front Entry Pavilion, 2000 Elitch Circle.
Any ladies and gentlemen 16 years of age or older will be able to step right up and interview for positions across all departments, including rides, aquatics, retail, food service, security, maintenance and more, according to the release. Pay starts at $19.29 per hour and employees get free park admission on their off days, as well as free tickets for friends and family and other perks.
“Being part of the Elitch Gardens team is a truly unique and rewarding experience,” said Rick Howarth, General Manager of Elitch Gardens, in the release. “Our team members gain confidence, develop valuable real-world skills and form lasting friendships while earning a competitive hourly wage in an exciting environment. By the end of the season, they leave with meaningful personal and professional growth and memories that last well beyond their time at the park.”
The park is slated to open April 11 for Season Pass Appreciation Weekend and to the general public the following Saturday, April 18, according to the release.
