Colorado mountain town to host ‘beer festival on skis’
Frisco BrewSki, a beer festival on skis, is scheduled for March 7, and tickets for the event are selling fast.
The festival is set to begin at the Frisco Nordic Center, and participants will ski along the Nordic Center trails and sample beers from ten Colorado and Wyoming breweries. Participants are encouraged to wear their best costumes for the event.
Skiing and beer sampling will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. beginning at the Frisco Nordic Center lodge and continuing onto the scenic, groomed trails. There will also be an after party from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Frisco Nordic Center.
Prizes will be awarded for best individual and group costumes, most ridiculous costume to ski in, and more.
Registration is $55 for adults and $25 for youth under 21. Registration includes a taster cup, a registration gift, beer sampling for those 21 and over, non-alcoholic beverages, a Nordic Center trail pass, and giveaways and prizes for costumes.
