Fire near Chautauqua Park 100% contained

The Bluebell Fire, which started burning on Saturday near Chautauqua Park in Boulder, is now 100 percent contained.

In an update posted at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, the Boulder Fire Rescue announced that there were no active flames and that crews were in mop up. The update also stated that crews will continue monitoring the area throughout Sunday.

Trail closures are still in place.

The Boulder Fire Rescue also noted that while there was only an evacuation warning for the Bluebell Fire, it is still a good time to sign up for emergency alerts at bocoalert.org. Find more information about emergency alerts here.
