Where good news shines

Denver Summit FC added another Coloradan.

Meg Boade, who played her club ball with Real Colorado and attended Valor Christian High, signed with Summit FC on Tuesday, the club said. The 23-year-old Boade played in the National Women’s Soccer League with Washington Spirit and Gotham FC in 2025.

“We welcome Meg to Denver Summit FC and are thrilled to add another player with deep Colorado ties to our roster,” Denver Summit FC general manager Curt Johnson said.

Boade began her college career at Northwestern, where she set a single-season record for assists with 14 in 2023. She also played at UCLA.

Summit FC opens its inaugural season at Bay FC at 4 p.m. Saturday.
