Fatal hit-and-run crash leaves eastbound I-70 closed for hours
A hit-and-run crash that left at least one person dead closed eastbound Interstate 70 in Denver for several hours Saturday morning.
The crash was reported just before 5 a.m. on I-70 near Havana Street, Denver police said on social media. The crash involved four motorists and left one person dead at the scene, while another person was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.
I-70 eastbound was closed at Central Park for several hours and reopened at about 8:30 a.m., 9NEWS reported.
