THUSDAY

Denver Jazz Festival
What: The smooth and sultry harmonies of jazz music take over the Mile High City this weekend for the Denver Jazz Festival, which will host a myriad of local musicians and artists. The inaugural festival will be held at venues across Denver and Boulder, with an emphasis on shows in the historic Five Points cultural district. There will also be some free shows, including one at Union Station featuring the Daryl Gott Trio.

FRIDAY

Colorado Auto Show at the Colorado Convention Center 🏎️
What: Whether you are a car enthusiast or just someone who appreciates art and expensive things, the Colorado Auto Show has something for everyone, from Italian exotics to outdoor recreation vehicles. Get info on the latest models, take test drives, try out race simulators or just gawk at your favorite brands and exotic cars you could only dream of seeing on your Pinterest board.

SATURDAY

Mini Masters Bar Crawl: a 6-Hole Tennyson St Putt Putt
What: A tradition unlike any other, from Denver’s suburban breweries, this is the Masters Mini Bar Crawl. Hosted by Alley Brews Brewery & Coffee, this bar crawl is a six-hole mini golf tournament that will putt putt its way down Tennyson Street. Attendees will putt their way through six different locations, which will feature their own unique mini golf hole and an optional specialty drink. Other participating locations include Berkeley Inn, Glo Noodle House, Wild Taco, Vital Root and Berkeley Untapped. The final hole at Berkeley Untapped will host a block party with a big screen in the parking lot to watch the tournament.

$20, proceeds from tickets benefit the Colorado State Beekeepers Association. Get tickets here.

Rocky Mountain Records Show
What: From bootleg releases to mint condition vinyls, you can spend the day crate digging for your favorite albums from Classic Rock, Hip Hop, Jazz and everything in between, at the Rocky Mountain Records Show. Sift through over 150,000 records curated from vendors across the country, find vintage posters, or just hang out and enjoy some drinks or local food truck fare while enjoying music spun from vinyl DJs.

Denver Silent Film Festival
What: Explore the world of visual storytelling at the Denver Silent Film Festival, where viewers get to step back in time into a forgotten era of film. The stacked lineup includes classics like The Thief of Bagdad and Joyless Street; there is a film for everyone to challenge their point of view. Whether you are a fan of silent films or just looking to see what its all about, its a chance to experience film the way it was originally intended, with performances live on screen with musical performances and no dialogue.

SUNDAY

The 21st annual Arvada Kite Festival🪁
What: You’re a bird in flight with your fist holding tight to the string of a kite! Soar into the skies this weekend at the Arvada Kite Festival, where you can spend the day flying through the skies with your feet firmly on the ground. More than just flying colorful, majestic kites, there are over 100 local vendors, food, music and kite demonstrations. The free event allows you to get outside and enjoy the spring weather with little planning. Bring your own kites, buy your own kite or make your own kite.
