Hit series with 88% rating on Rotten Tomatoes has heavy ties to Colorado – but I’ll leave it at that

This one is hard to write about because pretty much anything I say will be some sort of spoiler. That said, fans of thrillers, Colorado, and conspiracy theories are likely to enjoy a show called ‘Paradise’ that’s available on Disney-Plus as a Hulu production.

The Rotten Tomatoes description of the show reads as follows: “A security service team gets assigned to safeguard a former president.” As someone who hates spoilers myself, I won’t say much more, though I will note that Colorado plays a heavy role in the show.

It’s got an 88% on Rotten Tomatoes when it comes to the critic score and an 83% from the audience. It’s known for its cliffhangers and twists, which make it difficult to end an episode without starting another. It’s perfect for a cozy day inside of binge-watching television (I write as I watch spring snow lightly fall from my window in Colorado Springs).

I want to say a lot more about this show in terms of how it’s connected to many rumors about the state and otherwise, but I can’t. If you’re looking for another drama series that has a bit of action, check it out.

It’s rated ‘MA,’ mostly due to violence and some darker themes.

See the Rotten Tomatoes page for the show here, though I’d recommend avoiding spoilers if possible.

Want to check out a recent hit movie with Colorado ties, too? Check this out.

Vet says ticks carrying Lyme disease have made it to Colorado

A couple weeks ago, we published an article about tick-borne illnesses that are prevalent in Colorado. In that piece, we noted that most sources indicate that Lyme disease isn’t a concern – while some local cases have occurred, those were linked to people getting bit by a tick elsewhere in the country. In a pretty […]
