United Airlines said 200 passengers had to get off the plane due to a “security concern” Sunday evening.

DENVER — A reported bomb threat prompted the evacuation of a plane at Denver International Airport Sunday evening.

United Airlines said before departure, United flight 2408 from Denver to Dulles International Airport near Washington, D.C. deplaned safely due to a “security concern.”

The airline said the Airbus A321 was screened and cleared and that as of around 10 p.m., the passengers were back at the gate where they were provided with food and water as they waited for their flight.

United said the plane was carrying 200 passengers and seven crew members. No one was hurt.
