Who doesn’t love a good produce and craft market? Here’s your guide to the best markets around metro Denver and beyond, so you can try them all

DENVER

City Park Farmers Market
📍Location: City Park Esplanade in Denver, 3201 E. 17th Ave., Denver, CO 80206
📅 Dates + Hours: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., every Saturday, May 2-Oct. 31
🥕What to Expect: This market heavily focuses on high-quality, local food vendors, farmers and producers. Expect a traditional farmers market vibe with live music and recognizable faces from your favorite local businesses.
☕Food & Drink: City Park Farmers Market is welcoming 10 new local vendors this year, including produce from Unsung Farms, Rocky Mountain Fresh, and animal products from Lottie’s Meats. Standout food vendors this summer also include Soup Witch, Wee Woo Coffee, Owen’s Burritos and Moonshell Pizza Cooperative. 
🚗 Logistics: Walking, biking or taking public transit are recommended, but if you need to drive, it is best to park at the East High School staff parking lot (located off 16th street right next to the Esplanade).

Urban Market at Union Station
📍Location: Denver Union Station, 1701 Wynkoop St., Denver, Colorado 80202
📅 Dates + Hours:
12 p.m.-6 p.m. the following dates; May 31–June 1; June 7–8; July 5–6, July 19–20, and July 26–27; Aug. 9–10 and Aug. 16–17; Sept. 13–14; and Oct. 11–12, Oct. 18–19, and Oct. 25–26.
🥕What to Expect: Right in the heart of downtown Denver, the Urban Market focuses on eclectic goods from local artists, such as jewelry, furniture and other handcrafted items alongside live music. Expect to find more artsy, handmade goods at this market, which was rated a top local craft show in Denver.
☕Food & Drink:
This market is located near some of the most highly rated restaurants in Denver, such as Tavernetta, Olive & Finch and Jinya Ramen, making it an ideal destination for food and beverage, whether you are looking for something upscale or just farmers market fare.
🚗 Logistics: Take the train right into Union Station, walk or bike. Parking at nearby garages like the Laz Parking or Wewatta Parking by Parkwell.

Cherry Creek Fresh Market
📍Location: Cherry Creek Shopping Center, East Side, 100 S. Steele St., Denver, CO 80209
📅 Season + Hours:
9 a.m.-2 p.m., every Saturday, May 2-Oct. 10

Sow the most out of your farmers market season with tons of vendors selling in-season, Colorado-grown produce like fruit, farm fresh flowers, veggies, plants, and herbs. This farm-to-table market has a heavy focus on quality, sourcing locally raised meats, dairy, eggs and honey as well as bakery goods, cheeses, coffee and locally distilled spirits from businesses around Colorado.

University Hills Farmers Market
📍Location: Wellshire Presbyterian Church, 2999 S. Colorado Boulevard, Denver, 80222, Colorado Boulevard and Amherst Avenue (about 3 blocks from the previous location)

Great access and plenty of free parking at this local farmers market make it a breezy Saturday stroll searching for your favorite local produce. Expect a heavy focus on produce and baked goods at this farmers’ market and smaller crowds.
☕Food & Drink: With an emphasis on local flavors and familiar vendors, you will find coffee, tamales, kombucha, lemonade, pasta, seafood, and candy, as well as plated food options from local restaurants and food trucks.

South Pearl Farmers Market
📍Location: South Pearl neighborhood, 1500 S. Pearl St., Denver, CO 80210
📅 Season + Hours:
9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Sunday, May 3–Nov. 8
🥕What to Expect:
This market is one of Denver’s most popular farmers’ markets and one of the few markets open on Sundays during the summer, making for an ideal market to stock up on your weekly groceries. Although this market is crowded, it has more than 170+ local vendors and live music right in the heart of downtown, creating an energetic atmosphere in a cozy neighborhood.

This market focuses heavily on its food-related vendors with names like Mile High Fungi, Radial Sasquatch Dumpling Co, 5 Star Matcha and others to keep up with the ever-growing food scene in Denver.

Harvey Park Farmers Market
📍Location: Kunsmiller Creative Academy, 2250 S. Quitman St., Denver, CO 80219
📅 Season + Hours: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., every Saturday, May 2-Oct. 31, 2026
🥕What to Expect: Celebrating Southwest Denver’s rich diversity, this market focuses on keeping things local with a neighborly vibe and a smaller market with 50+ local vendor booths, a family-friendly atmosphere and live music.
☕Food & Drink: This market has a heavy focus on ready-to-eat and prepared and packaged foods like artisan breads from Hearth Bakery, cooking oils from Boulder Olive Oil, sourdough bagels from Smrcka Bagel and dumplings from Radical Sasquatch.

Highlands Farmers Market
📍Location: The Farmer’s Market at Highlands Square, W. 32nd Ave. & Lowell Boulevard, Denver, CO 80211
📅 Season + Hours:
9 a.m.-1 p.m., every Sunday, May 10-Oct. 25
🥕What to Expect:
This market has curated, local vendors on par with the bigger markets like Cherry Creek, City Park and South Pearl but with fewer crowds. Expect slow, Sunday morning vibes at this market with a variety of fresh food and produce, local music and fabulous fruits and fancy flowers!

Central Park Farmers Market
📍Location: The Founders’ Green, 7601 29th Ave., Denver, CO 80238
📅 Season + Hours:
8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., every Sunday from June 21 until Oct. 11
🥕What to Expect:
This farmers market places strong emphasis on supporting its local community by ensuring all the produce is grown, raised, produced or gathered by a vendor in the state of Colorado or counties bordering Colorado.
☕Food & Drink:
A variety of local favorites like The Tortilla Project, Haykin Family Cidery, Tlaquesalsa and Astro Coffee Van so you can get a chance to try that spot in Denver you’ve been wanting to try, with fewer lines and laid back vibes.

NORTH OF DENVER

Louisville Farmers Market

9 a.m.–1 p.m., Saturdays, May 9–Oct. 10
🥕What to Expect:
Venture outside of downtown Denver to this quiet, suburban neighborhood market that offers all the locally-grown produce you love from other markets, with fewer crowds and small-town vibes.
☕Food & Drink:
Notable local produce vendors include Fox Fungi, Miller Farms and Forte fruits as well as local restaurants and food trucks like The Argentos Empanadas, Redemption Road Coffee and handmade pretzels from 47 Bakery.

Lafayette Farmers Market
📍Location: Public Rd. between Cleeveland St. and Geneseo St., Lafayette, CO 80026
📅 Season + Hours: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., every Sunday, May 3-Oct. 25, 2026
🥕What to Expect: This growers-only market in the heart of downtown Lafayette has a neighborly atmosphere with over 85 Colorado farmers, ranchers and food producers bringing their best farm-fresh products to your table. Expect a lively, bustling neighborhood market with live music that is perfect for the whole family.
☕Food & Drink: Find unique vendors like Bruna’s Brazilian Cheese Bread, Moon Raccoon Baking and NOCO Chocolates. This market has a heavy focus on local, family-owned and operatedand small-batch businesses.

Erie Farmers Market
📍Location: Briggs Street between Wells & Moffat, or use Lucile’s address, 554 Briggs St., Erie, CO 80516
📅 Season + Hours:
5 p.m.–8 p.m., every Thursday evening, May 7–Sept. 17
🥕What to Expect:
The ideal stop on a weeknight for dinner and some shopping, this market is in the heart of Erie with a cute, suburban feel, perfect for bringing the whole family. Expect a family-oriented feel for kids and pets alike.
☕Food & Drink:
Farmers market faves include vendors like 7Anubis Farms, Mutual Dream Farm, and Jessifams’ bacon-wrapped hot dogs.

Boulder County Farmers Market – Longmont
📍Location: Boulder County Fairgrounds 9595 Nelson Road, Longmont, CO
📅 Season + Hours:
8 a.m.-1 p.m., every Saturday, April 4–Nov. 21
🥕What to Expect:
More than just sugar beets and dairy products, this market offers all the local produce and products grown and procured locally, even some right in Longmont, Colorado. You will find products grown right by the people selling them to you at this growers-only market.
☕Food & Drink:
With deeper farm roots and representation in Longmont, this market is the perfect chance to check out viral favorites like Black Cat Farm, Ela Family Farms, Boulder Better Wagyu and Buck and Bloom Cheese Co. that will help fill your belly and your fridge before you head home.

SOUTH OF DENVER

Metro Denver Farmer’s Market – Highlands Ranch
📍Location: Highlands Ranch Town Center, 9288 Dorchester St., Highlands Ranch
📅 Season + Hours:
10 a.m.–2 p.m., every Sunday, May 3–Nov. 1
🥕What to Expect: Easy parking and plenty of vendors
at this market south of Denver, which offers many of the same local produce options and favorite produce varieties like Rocky Ford Melons, Palisade Peaches, and Pueblo Chiles.
☕Food & Drink:
Vendors include Mazzotti Farms and Greenhouses, Rocky Mountain Rice Co. and Domenico Farms, which have all made an appearance at the market for the last three years.

Parker Farmers Market
📍Location: Main Street, Parker, 19565 Mainstreet, Parker, CO 80138
📅 Season + Hours:
8 a.m.-1 p.m., every Sunday, starting on May 10 – Oct. 3126. **No market on June 14 due to Parker Days
🥕What to Expect:
Featuring the best local vendors around Colorado curated by local grocery market, retailer ‘The Local,’ you can find all your favorite farm-to-table goodies every Sunday in the heart of downtown Parker. This market features more than 100 local vendors from bakeries to local farmers and craftmakers and more. This market is dog friendly.
☕Food & Drink:
Patrons reviewed this market as having a high-quality selection of local produce from pumpkins, chiles and tomatoes to cherries, plums and peaches as well as a good selection of local plated foods like Mediterranean, Kombuchas, and pastas as well as a good selection of gluten-free choices.

Festival Park Farmers Market Castle Rock
📍Location: Festival Park, 300 Second Street, Castle Rock, CO 80104
📅 Season + Hours:
9 a.m.-2 p.m., every Sunday, May 24-Oct. 11
🥕What to Expect:
This farmers market focuses on a small town feel with its market held in a park near downtown Castle Rock that has a large pavilion, two fire pits, splash pad, a picnic area, and plenty of seating. With only 40 vendors the market focuses more on supporting small local businesses.
☕Food & Drink:
Patrons noted that while this market has high-quality produce and a great selection of local fruits, they wish there were more food vendors. This park has ample seating and picnic areas for patrons.

People + Produce at Belleview Station DTC 
📍Location: Belleview Station DTC, 6900 E Layton Ave Denver, CO 80237 
📅 Season + Hours: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., every Sunday, May 31st , 2026  
🥕What to Expect: A smaller farmers market is what you’ll find at People + Produce, with plenty of shade and free parking. This dog-friendly market might be smaller than others in the downtown area, but packs a punch with 50+ local vendors with a heavy focus on affordable produce.  
☕Food & Drink:  This smaller market packs a punch with vendors like Tongue Burners Hot Sauce, which makes sauces using exotic peppers based here in Denver, Colorado. Find spirits from distillers like Uncle Tim’s Cocktails, which creates premium, bottled, craft cocktails in the heart of Denver.

Green Valley Ranch Farmer’s Market
📍Location: Outside the GVR Recreation Center, 4890 Argonne Way Denver, Colorado 8024 
📅 Season + Hours: 5 p.m. – 8 p.m., every Wednesday, in June July and August 
🥕What to Expect: Bring a chair, the family and stay for dinner at this family-oriented market that’s one of few weeknight markets. In addition to typical farmers market fare, there will be free activities for the family like face painting, henna, and caricatures as well as live music and over 50 local vendors and food options.  
☕Food & Drink: With a smaller selection of local vendors, you can find farmers market vendors like Lela’s honey, Fox Fungi and Mesa Park Fruit Co. You’ll find a small but mighty selection of local businesses, farmers, and producers.

EAST OF DENVER 

Southland’s Farmers Market 
📍Location: Main Street, 6295 Main Street, Suite104 Aurora, CO 80016
📅 Season + Hours: 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., every Saturday, May 9 – September 26, 2026  
🥕What to Expect: This farmers market has a large variety of vendors from produce to prepared food and even handmade art. Patrons note that the vendor variety is a bit of a toss-up each week but that they enjoy that it is family and dog-friendly and has more of a focus on crafts and locally-made art.  
☕Food & Drink: You’ll be able to find all your farmers market favorites like Mile High Pie Co., Bavarian Sausage Express and Rosario’s Tamales to fuel up before you peruse through the crafts, clothing and art.  

WEST OF DENVER

Boulder County Farmers Market 
📍Location: 13th Street between Arapahoe Ave & Canyon Boulevard, Boulder, CO 
📅 Season + Hours: 8 a.m .– 2 p.m., every Saturday, April 4 – Nov. 21, 2026 or 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm every Wednesday, May 6 – October 7, 2026 
🥕What to Expect: This market gives you plenty of opportunities to get to a farmers market in Boulder, with a weekly market twice a week, featuring Colorado producers entirely. This market focuses on the farmers, with money from each purchase ensuring the continuation of local agriculture and equitable food access. But no pets, please. 
☕Food & Drink: Find produce grown locally from vendors like Kiowa Valley Organics, Mother Mycelium and Aspen Moon Farms as well as local butchers like Boulder Better Waygu and Memphis Bison Ranch. Find food ready-to-eat by 47 Bakery, De Los Andes Empanadas, and popsicles from Denver Pops.
