Lost wallet containing suspected drugs found in area of Colorado ski resort

Someone appears to have lost their drugs at Copper Mountain in recent days and if they’re wanting them back, they should know that they’ve been booked into evidence by the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.

According to a report from the sheriff’s office, the wallet in question was turned into deputies after it was found in the Copper Mountain Village area. While the wallet didn’t contain a driver’s license or other identifying information, it did contain some photos, cash, a business card, and a small bag that appeared to contain cocaine.

Given the presence of the suspected drugs, the wallet was considered to be potential evidence and kept by the sheriff’s office.

No other updates were provided in the case, including whether or not an effort is being made to find the wallet’s owner.
