Broncos’ 2026 draft capsules
A look at the Denver Broncos’ picks in the 2026 NFL draft:
Third round
No. 66: Defensive tackle Tyler Onyedim, 6-4, 290 pounds, Texas A&M
— Rugged, athletic defensive tackle whom Broncos coach Sean Payton expects to challenge for a starting spot vacated by John Franklin-Myers, who signed with Tennessee.
Fourth round

No. 108: Running back Jonah Coleman, 5-9, 220 pounds, Washington
— Physical runner who provides depth considering J.K. Dobbins’ injury history. After rushing for 1,053 yards in 2024, he had 758 in 2025 when hampered by some knee issues.

No. 111: Guard-tackle Kage Casey, 6-6, 320 pounds, Boise State
— Played tackle in college but could slide to guard. Broncos like his versatility. Coaches say he is “quick” and “aggressive.” Has patterned game after Denver star tackle Garett Bolles.
Fifth round

No. 152: Tight end Justin Joly, 6-4, 241 pounds, North Carolina State
— Solidly built. Fine receiver and decent blocker. Caught 49 passes for 489 yards last season. Could be a steal after being projected by many to be a third- or fourth-round pick.
Seventh round
No. 246: Safety Miles Scott, 5-11, 210 pounds, Illinois
— Provides depth at safety after P.J. Locke left the Broncos in free agency to sign with Dallas. As a senior in 2025, had seven passes defended and four tackles for loss. Went on a top-30 visit to Denver.

No. 256: Tight end Dallen Bentley, 6-4, 253 pounds, Utah
— Provides additional depth as Denver’s second tight end selected in the draft. Caught 48 passes for 420 yards in 2025. Was a Utes teammate in 2024 of Broncos tight end Caleb Lohner.

No. 257: Linebacker Red Murdock, 6-2, 233 pounds, Buffalo
— He’s Mr. Irrelevant as the last player taken in the draft, the second Mr. Irrelevant in Broncos history, following quarterback Chad Kelly in 2017. He Forced 17 fumbles in his NCAA career, a record.
