Woman arrested for allegedly chopping Westminster garage with axe
A woman was arrested by Westminster police in early April after allegedly chopping pieces out of a garage with an axe, authorities said.
The 34-year-old woman, who police did not identify, continually came to the south Westminster property uninvited after the homeowners had helped her once, the Westminster Police Department said on social media Thursday afternoon.
A screenshot of the body camera footage provided by the department lists the event as taking place on April 10 around 9:30 a.m.
During the early April call, officers found the woman hiding in the home’s garage, which had been damaged by an axe, the department said. She was then arrested and taken to the Adams County Jail.
Police did not provide the woman’s name or more details about her connection to the homeowners in their post.
