DUI suspect reportedly crashed into park ranger vehicles at Colorado state park
On Sunday night, Colorado Parks and Wildlife announced that an investigation was underway into a suspected DUI crash that occurred at Cherry Creek State Park.
According to their report, the suspect allegedly crashed into multiple officer vehicles at the state park on the evening of May 10, with one wildlife officer transported to the hospital following the incident. The suspect allegedly involved in the crash was also transported to the hospital in an unknown condition.
Per an update published on the morning of May 11, the Colorado Parks and Wildlife officer had since been released from the hospital. No information was provided regarding what injuries that officer may have sustained.
It was also noted that Colorado State Patrol took over the investigation into the crash.
Cherry Creek State Park spans about 4,200 acres in Aurora and is home to a 880 surface-acre reservoir.
