NHL releases Avalanche schedule for Western Conference final
While the Avalanche await word on their opponent in the Western Conference final, the NHL was kind of enough to release the schedule ahead of time.
The Avalanche get a full week off before they hit the ice for Game 1 at Ball Arena on Wednesday for a matchup with the Vegas Golden Knights or Anaheim Ducks. At stake in the best-of-seven series is a spot in the Stanley Cup final.
Vegas holds a 3-2 series over Anaheim with Game 6 at 7:30 p.m. Thursday (TNT). The Avalanche eliminated the Minnesota Wild in a five-game series Wednesday.
