Driver injured, arrested after car crashes into Denver home

A driver and passenger were seriously injured after a car crashed into a Denver home early Tuesday.

The crash happened just before 2 a.m. at the intersection of West 10th Avenue and North Perry Street, Denver police said. The driver and passenger of the vehicle both sustained serious injuries and were taken to a hospital after the crash.

Occupants of the home were struck by debris and suffered minor injuries, police said. The house’s roof, fence and some road signs near the home were damaged, according to 9News.

The driver of the car, who police did not identify, was arrested and is being investigated for vehicular assault, police said.
